sorry about that i should have made it clearer, it ended up being a bit of a put two and two together message but oh well.

okay well i give respect to LOTR because it was the beginning of fantasy and so forth but i find that tolkien waffles and spends two pages describing the flowers in a meadow. he is also pretty predictable, george r. r. martin is in no uncertain terms a heartless bastard that is completely unpredictable and uncaring for any of his characters. also the style in which the books are written is like nothing i have ever read before. each chapter is written from a different characters perspective so you get some really interesting insights into the storyline and the scope and detail of his setting in immense.
long story short, stop being lazy and read these books if you are into fantasty. |

| whoops there i go again ranting and raving without actually answering the question. so here goes the title of the new book is "A Feast For Crows", and it is the fourth book in the series which is why is mentioned the series and the first book because it would be unwise to pick up the fourth book and start reading it. |
