i know some of you are thinking...who goes out on Christmas eve? well my friends do and they dragged me along with them. some small venue in orange county (California). main room hip hop and downstairs trance. the dj had good mixing skills but he kept playing anthem after anthem. and a night of anthems gets rather boring, especially when i want to hear prog house and he was spinning hard house, if not an anthem. so i'm sitting there listnening to a string of cheese when he suddenly drops zombie nation - kernkraft 400. then i turn to my friend and say, "what's next alice deejay?" and then he drops back in my life and i was laughing my ass off. then i got sick and went home to sleep cuz i had to clean the house in the morning for a Christmas party in the evening. oh yeah and there were only 50 people there with 8 of them being female. and the bartenders didn't know how to mix anything. pretty sad excuse for a party. so the moral of the story is don't go out and party on Christmas eve. cheers!
