yeah - that's a great interview! i definitely agree with steve that lights out 1 is an absolute classic - i remember i hammered that cd for about 6 months - and it still sounds fresh when i pop it in the cd player. and it's really cool to see how his sound has progressed and how diverse he really is with the series - lights out 1 is still my favorite of the three, but lights out 3 is also exceptional IMO.
and i like how he explains why vinyl is going out - that dj'ing means so much more than beatmatching and mixing two records. maybe some ppl will get a clue. |
