Röyksopp UK Tour

MaRt
So, I'm orf to see Röyksopp at the Bristol Carling Academy on Monday October 10th. It'll be my first proper live music experience ever and I'm really looking forward to it. Surely I'm not the only UKTA with tickets? I can't wait to hear 'Alpha Male' (or indeed any of their tracks) live.

I should be going to the Birmingham Carling Academy gig.

Can't wait :D

A mate at work went to the Bristol Carling acadame recently to see some act whose name escapes me now. But the venue, soundsytem and acoustics are supposed to be spot on.

Saw them at Newcastle Uni last nite and what a quality nite. Royksopp were amazing!

Walked into what I thought was Jazz Club of the Fast Show, the french bloke was quality tho. Later figured out this was actually Sebastien Tellier.

As for Royksopp, the set was structured great so it started off with some slower stuff and then built all the way through. Nok E Nok at the end was perfect. Crowd was excellent as well, really enjoying it.

Just to report back (as if anyone is interested), Röyksopp were absolutely amazing in Bristol last night. They played all my favourites and had a great energy which the crowd obviously lapped up. The vocalist Anneli Drecker was a wonderful surprise and all in all it was just an eye-opening experience.

The support act, Sebastian Tellier, was...well, odd. I think I'll leave it at that.
