I just stumbled across this neat trick i found by our dubious buddies at the SomethingAwful Forums. A guy wanted to know what kind of PC controller to get to play Metal Gear Solid 2 (for PC) since he'd heard the original setup completely sucked. Out came this:
| quote: | | All you have to do is strip the wire on both the USB cable and XBOX cable (The thing that connects to the xbox is the best idea since then you can use other xbox controllers using it), then connect the wires to each other, making sure to wrap them up neatly in electrical tape. The wires are colour coded, so there shouldn't be any matching problems. With the extra yellow wire on the XBOX controller, just ignore it and wrap it up in tape so it doesn't touch anything. |
from what i read on, it works with perfectly with analog. I bought a generic PC controller a few weeks back to work with my $4.99 copy of metal gear solid 1 i saw at EB Games, but it didnt have analog.
i don't know about the cost yet, but it definently ups ur l337 status.
next, do u guys want to learn about overclocking your mouse? |
