I'm talking about consoles, not PC and I'm sure that people made custom cases and whatnot for other game systems but it started to get big with Dreamcast and from there it was the XBOX. |

Actually, if you picked up some of the older 'zines (especially from Japan), you would have seen that there was a pretty solid fanbase of modders for consoles (mainly Sega). The Saturn had some pretty SICK edits. Wish I could find the pictures... Hmm! |

i originally thought of creating stickers that glue onto the VERY original PS1 controller. Tekken characters, Cloud, etc. "Add Style to your controller"
10 years later, Logitech released the clear case for the PSP where people add their own cutout images onto the back. |
