ya, sorry i was only gonna do it if apri wasnt. i didnt really want to.
seriously, she goes out and parties way more than i do now, also no one dislikes her like they do me... ive made comments about people and parties in the past that dont make me very popular with the non tas. i also totally blasted fnk and one of vancouver's very worst but most booked and well connected djs.
(however my comments on agro party were totally right, when a headliner 'doesnt get through customs' 95% of the time its the promoter cancelling them at the last minute. also quite a few of us tas really ahd a bad time. i also did say that these were good promoters who got caught with some bad luck. read my post carefully you guys)
apri is fairly well known, good at getting around the traditional parties barriers (just like me) and has no one who hates her. besides burtonlinx, shes the only other choice really. people like ray ray or morty or mark or j digital or chadvandyk are all good choices but not enough people know them in their host cities, plus around western canada.
ya yote apri, please stop voting yak.
also i just wanted to say that not being involved in the drug culture i think is a trait that is important, though mark didnt mention it. drugs soemtimes tend to make people sketchy, unreliable and untrustworthy. that is something we dont want in our mod.

personally id rather have a winnipeg mod, because you naturally scan the names for people you recognise, and atm those guys seem to be making most of the pointless posts, like say 2 threads for the same party, etc. |

Like I said before theres no way I would do van. I used to be a bc-boy but these days living in calgary I only look at your threads when im considering a roadtrip home.
But anyways I think you guys are taking this too seriously. I'm a mod on a way bigger board than this and its really not that much work. I dont think u need to post a resume or talk about how squeaky clean you are or anything. Plus I think its ok if you have attitude and strong opinions. I'm a mod and im an ass! Well not all the time:rolleyes: But ya :D |

hey our 2 pointless threads has 2 different topics of discussion....it may have the same name....but different discussions!!!!
and pointless posts....we're a group of friends outside of TA and this is how we keep in touch while we're busy at work...but still pointless or not ...... there's no need to be bashing us like that.... its not like we're on here bashing on other TA's OR other provinces at that....

this is about as ignorant of a statement as anyone can make. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
personally, i don't see how knowing more people are in any way related to moderating a forum. do you think swamper knew the lot of us when he first moderated this site on his own in 2000? or how about wicked neo and blik in 2001? or even jason. i don't think he has met a lot of us vancouver TA's back then either. get my drift?
on top of that, sean, i don't think you have any grounds to make a comment about how many people each of us know on the simple fact that you DON'T really know some of us.
as for dj jean, agro came out and gave their explanation on FNK. danny also, posted it in your thread before it got deleted. unless you have real proof that jean was cancelled, what are you going to do besides spreading harmful rumours about said promoters? if you are that dissatisfied about agro and their events, you can choose to boycott them in the future. 'nuff said.
as for moderator, i honestly think a guy like danny is a great candidate. he's calm and collective, most of the time ;), and anytime he speaks, its straight, direct and forward. he may disagree with you, but he has well-thought-out ideas and presents them in a way where you just want to listen and hear him out. unfortunately, i think he's too busy to take care of this though, but he is an example of who i think should be our next moderator on here. |
