Rockford Fosgate Power T3002

Thundering Rockford Fosgate Power series amps — with their fine-tuned audio controls, extreme durability, and proprietary technologies (like TRANS-ana circuitry for ultra-clean signal transfer) — are capable of stronger, more reliable performance than most other amplifiers on the market.

The Power T3002 will drive your component speakers with two channels of 50 watts RMS; switch it to mono operation, and your subs will thrive on 300 watts RMS (at 2 ohms). Thanks to the bullet-proof design, you can even run this amp at 1 ohm in stereo — yielding 150 watts to two channels. Read more

and what car to break into!
Mark
good stuff! i am using 2 rockford power amps myself. lots of power and quite efficient too.

here's my little advice to you, i find that ported boxes are better with hip hop music. you might want to try using sealed boxes sometime down the road for tighter bass when listening to EDM.

ps: if you or your friends need anything car-stereo related, i have LOTS of stuff i'd like to get rid of. ;)
Euphorica
what car?

make sure you have the volume low well before you get to your location.
Mark
i think he drives a precidia.

if he's tuning the system himself, i'd actually recommend turning his volume knob the highest he can before the speakers distort before adjusting on the amplifiers.

but of course, it all depends. i like my music LOUD and not just the bass. i've tuned stereos for my co-workers before and they didn't like how i tuned it for them. they listen mostly to hip hop though, and therefore they rather hear more bass than the music itself.

for me, i like to tune my stereo to sound close enough as if i was at a party. lots of bass and also lots of highs. refer to my usertext ;)
kanadianiceman
in reality i should of gotten two 10's in a sealed box for punch factor

as for showing up on location i dont plan on having it loud at all, but probly leaving ill crank it up to make an exit :D

but yes i dont really need it for RAP/Hip hop so SPL isnt that important, but i do liek to impress :D

i have an 93' mx-3
the guy did have a system in it so there are some aplines that are like 100 watts, so another amp SHOULD be in there, but im broke now and going to sait so ant happening!

i might get two 10s instead when i go in for some wiring for my cap to save some space in the back

let me know what you got.
