OK, I'm so ranting now!
Firstly, what a terrible game it was! An absolute abhorrent show lacking skill and effort it seemed, bar a couple (Judd, Kerr, Buchanan, Chick... a couple others). I mean, for example Gardner, he was terrible! The first quarter, "misjudging" to put it nicely 3 attempts at a mark and going under the ball... shocking. And as for some of the players ground skills...
That said, I still have to rant about Sydney. I totally think their style of play is a detriment. I mean, look at the scores, 58 - 54... 1. Flooding... I mean WC had no forward to kick to, but putting your whole team in the defensive 50... leads to no goals and a really ugly game. 2. Their chipping around mentality. Another thing that leads to a frustrating game. A game should be free flowing, should see big marks and good scrumming, and flooding doesn't allow this.
I really hope the rules are changed, because this is ****. Sorry, but I hate Sydney, their gameplay and their colours. I'm an Essendon supporter, and somethings gotta be wrong if I hate Sydney more than Collingwood.

Oh yeah, and when Hall clotheslined Wirrapunda, I went ballistic. If that was me, and I weighed more than him, I would've knocked him out. C*nt! He should've been suspended in the first place. |

I watched the 2nd and 4th quarters, first time i've seen an AFL game. was good fun to watch :)
the Commentators are hilarious - "these courageous men", "warriors", - they are football players not war hero's :haha: :haha: :haha: |
