lol i had the same issue a few months ago during mongness (replace bourbon with water in the kitchen sink).
my tip: get a sony ericsson (but wait, i thought you had one?). :toothless
err yeah just need to air it to dry and my contacts are still intact (including texts)
well maybe the other things was it like to spam people with texts whenever it feels like it and sometimes the screen would go blank for no apparent reason but thats about it... :p
