I just wanna know what everyone else thinks. Personally I find the guy so unfunny.. especially in those improvised situations like interviews.. says nothing funny at all.
Sure his introduction to the show isnt half bad, but thats all scripted anyways so it's not like he's doing much.
Does anyone actually like this guy or does he deserve Paulie's crusty nuts in email? |

I never understood how this guy got anywhere. He doesnt seem to have much talent at all yet he wins gold awards. Probably says something about the state of Australian television at the moment.
But if the crazy frog can take over the world then i think sane human beings are outnumbered 10 to 1. |

I dont find him that funny at all. But then again...how funny are any TV hosts. Jay Leno & David Letterman are pretty rank too. Rove appeals to the average Aussie family, if his humour was too witty people would find him difficult to watch.
I dont tune in to watch him....Conan O'Brien on the other hand is hysterical :haha: |

i dont like those interview situations as well sometimes. the talk always goes stale after rove says some bodge joke the crowd take that extra second to get it.
letterman on the other hand is a genius. i think his a pissa. |

oh please. if letterman is a genius i could well be the second coming. its pointless having a quick wit if your jokes are . and then theres his sycophant schaeffer on the sidelines \'oh yeah dave\' \'so true dave\' \'absolutely dave\' \'can i suck your dave\' at any of the lame jokes or observations letterman makes.
the guy is about as funny as testicular cancer.
having said that he is a good interviewer, and given his audience is american, one might not blame him for providing relatively entertainment.
down here we\'re lucky not to get rove (except on digital) so ive never seen enough to make a judgement. |
