Promoter Posting Policy:
All promoters in the southeast region are welcome to post their events on the Events Page. Promoters, who are active in the forum, may create individual threads about their upcoming parties two weeks before the event date. All additional information about a specific event must then be posted in the respective thread. Do not create multiple threads about the same event!
The only exception to the two week rule is for large events with multiple headlining talents. These special events will have no set posting time on the condition that promoters have a solid list of talent and information about the event. In other words, no hype threads.
Bumping Threads:
A promoter may not purposefully bump threads back to the top of the forum. Examples of bumps is when the promoter posts something like, "This party will be great!", "One more week!", or :) (a smilie). Posts stating the obvious or opinions that provide no additional information about the event. Allowable posts are those that contain additional information about the party, for instance, timeslots, added equipment and question answering. The only exception to the bump rule will be when the party is a day or two away. Go ahead and remind people.
All threads and posts not abidding by the rules may be deleted and/or merged without notice. |
