Bio // Blinky // Bill Hunter // Progressive Breaks

Bill Hunter started producing music in 2000 and the age of 16. Playing under
the moniker, Blinky, He is now one of the youngest producers/live acts on
the Melbourne Progressive breakbeat. In the studio his style ranges from Psy
trance to Banging house to, of course progressive. He has recently burst on
to the Melbourne scene with his live act, in turn becoming Melbourne’s only
resident live progressive act @3d & Deep Tribal Lore.

He has recently set the floor on fire with new sounds from his own live show
and that of his Relapse Audio project with DJ Kieran Rice of COD at 3D
nightclub as well as shows for the United Synthetics crew at the Earthcore
and Rainbow serpent festivals on top of contributing soundtracks for Some of
Melbourne’s up and coming independent film producers.

His music has become a staple of some of Melbourne’s resident DJs with
tracks being played at Bass Station, Deep 11, Synthetics, Rebirth vs. Candy
and Melbourne’s radio stations PBS and Street FM. As well as hosting his own
segment; ‘Beat Geek 101’ on Melbourne’s newly reborn KissFM each Monday.
