Hm. Most of Taito's recent games have not made it outside of Japan, so if this trend keeps up I doubt US/European gamers will notice much of a difference. However, Square/Enix will hopefully put Taito's competence to good use so that non-japanese gamers will get some benefits of this as well.
Langrisser was one of the most underrated games on SNES (which again, never made it outside of Japan), so it's good to see it getting a revamp and a renewed chance at getting more recognition. I have fond memories from Taito's 8 bit offerings, too(Bubble Bobble and Little Samson to mention some). |
