The BIGGEST EVER Planet Love is ON!
The biggest ever Planet Love outdoor festival is planned for Bank Holiday Weekend, Sunday August 28th at Shane’s Castle in Antrim, Northern Ireland. with over 60 DJs, on 8 stages and over 11 glorious hours.
Supported by Budweiser and WKD and organised by PLM Promotions – the creators of LOVE Saturdays at Club Matrix - Planet Love 2005 once again boasts an extraordinary line up. Armin Van Buuren, Steve Lawler, Ferry Corsten, DJ Sneak, Fergie, Eddie Halliwell, Scot Project, Marco V, Lisa Lashes, Marshall Jefferson, Yoji Biomehanika, MYNC Project, Joey Beltram, Guy Ornadel, Scott Brown, Misstress Barbara, Paul Taylor, Agnelli and Nelson….are just some of the world’s biggest DJs visiting this year.
UK clubbing brand Goodgreef is among the hosts of the 8 arenas, while classics clubbing brand Retro, who have hosted Ibizan nights at Eden this past few years, are presenting the VIP arena.
The entire spectrum of dance music has been catered for this year in individual arenas including trance, house, techno, hard house, old skool, hip hop, breaks and even a little bit of hardcore!
And true to PLM Promotions dedication to promoting up and coming talent, Keymix - fronted by Alice Ferguson, mother of BBC Radio One star Fergie - is hosting the outdoor stage with ten of Northern Ireland’s most promising DJs on the line up.
“It’s going to be a phenomenal party,” says co-promoter Judith Farrell-Rowan. “It’s good to be back! We have managed to secure an astonishing array of DJs, as well as the finest our own country has to offer. Every dominant genre of dance music has been represented effectively and with 8 stages this year, this is undoubtedly our biggest yet. Despite NI’s demographics, Planet Love’s line up rivals the best of the UK’s festivals this year. All we need now is the sunshine!”
This is the 7th Planet Love festival which has drawn over 300 DJs and artists from around the world to Northern Ireland since 1998, including Faithless, Tiesto, Carl Cox, Pete Tong and John Digweed. The event is a feather in the cap of the NI music scene, and famous for its indulgent and eclectic yearly line ups. This year’s event, which will attract around 10,000 clubbers from across Ireland to the stunning setting of Shane’s Castle and will have a fun fair, fully licensed bars and festival stalls.
Tickets are on sale priced at £39.50 plus booking fee, while agent fees might also apply. For the first time in the festival’s history, a limited number of VIP upgrades are available priced £15. This will gain access into the VIP area hosted by Retro where you can enjoy exclusive DJ sets – including an old skool set by Scot Project! – a fully stocked bar and separate toilets.
