Two days, three nights of DJ's, workshops and guest speakers, in a highly intentional DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE environment. (Yes we're serious about that part, please see website for more details). Location is the beautiful outdoor setting of the pristine Elaho valley, near Vancouver BC Canada.
Featuring: 16 DJ's and Live PA acts, workshops, and a great communal vibe.

well, the reason it wasn't posted sooner was because i wanted the website up and ready to go first, and it was only a splash page until a week before the event. (It took over 24 hours to get my login to this site approved, which was another delay, I only found out about it when posting on another site). we did extensive flyering and emailing and wordofmouthing... but i didn't see a point posting it to forums that I didn't know well until we had a real website. next year it will be sooner I promise.
as for Summer Breaks... well, did you look closely at our event, or just the date? ours is highly intentional, a bunch of crazy hippie ravers in the woods doing workshops and yoga and dancing to psytrance and techno, a couple of hundred of us at most. Imagine the Om festival only much smaller. Summer Breaks on the other hand, from what I can see, is a large massive for a very young crowd. I don't think the number of people that will be torn between the two events is exactly huge :-)
I'm out of town as of tomorrow morning to start setting up, but I'll be happy to address your concerns when I get back from the forest, with a big smile on my face...
