I have a quick HiHat Sample and i want to add reverb to it, but after the wave file ends it cuts off.. it wont let me just stretch it longer like a midi track. how do i make the wav file longer so the reverb doesnt get cut off.
Chronosis
What are you using when you add reverb? Cubase shouldn't cut it off. Anyways, you can make the file longer by adding silence to the end.

thats what im asking, how do i add silence at the end, just make the wav file longer. the reverb plugin only adds reverb till the end of the wav file then gets cut off there. -_- makes me want to go use EZLoops.
Project 7
Just stick it in "Native Instruments Battery" and add reverb to it

I also wanted to ask, how do i get it so I can play around with vst effects like reverb while playing my song with wav files. All I know how to do is right click on the image of it in the playlist and goto process.
Project 7
press f3, mixer should come up, look for the channel, press the little "e" then add effects

there will be 2 channels for each synth, so make sure you go to the right one for adding reverb delay etc

Thanks figured it out.

Dude, you really really need to RTFM before posting everything single little thing that's on your mind. This is friggin' BASIC stuff in Cubase man, when you're doing an offline process, click the "more" button and add a tail to it.

ok, this probly isnt the best time too ask, but how do i link the filter cutoff to my midi controller knobs? .. in FL its sooo easy you dont even need manual to figure it out. is it hard in cubase?
