| you'll have a blast....no doubt! the first time at guv is definately an experience that cannot really be put into words. the party lasts for close to 12 hours so there will be plenty of time for you to explore all the nooks and crannies of the complex. if you go in wanting to have a good time, and leave an open mind to whatever may happen, than i promise you....it will be the best nite of your life!! |

no, dont have a ticket yet, but will be getting one soon. amb told me it will sell out so better get a ticket now. i figured ticketmaster is national, shouldnt be a problem getting a ticket in van |

you can buy tickets at the door, but they cost an arm and a leg. probvably like $75 or so. Buy online from ticketmaster is what I'd recommend, and no I don't have mine yet, but I probably will at some point when I go record shopping this week.
And like I said, plan your route thru the building before you get there. The ground floor method of moving around will probably be something like this Guv->orange room->kool haus->outdoor walkway->guv.
It could be in the complete opposite direction, but I believe the last time I was at the labour of love [2003] that's how it worked.

It's great to hear that. It's people like you who make this party decent. I avoid the guv on almost all other nights of the year because of the bad crowd and overcrowding, but it's the people who travel and are really up for it that make this party tolerable for jaded folk like me.
As for not going out for 3-4 months, who knows, maybe you'll be back on thanksgiving for the anniversary parties at the guv. Rumour right now for that weekend is : PvD, Ferry, Infected Mushroom, and Carl Cox. But these details are a long way from being released. Or you could check out montreal for the black and blue festival, where it is confirmed that Danny Tenaglia, and Chus and Ceballos will be playing many many hours of house mayhem in front of the montreal crowd....That's the party I'm getting excited as a little school-girl for. |
