LOVE PARADE SF LOGISTICS (hotel, directions, etc.) (pg. 5)
PsyCode
Well, I finally got those VIP's *WHEW*. Now I just gotta sell those 2 general tickets for 2 lucky people, it's gonna be hard. Whoever posted above me, I wish you luck for finding a room, cause I'm pretty sure most of them are booked, but if you know your way around and know how to talk to people the right way, you will get your way, just be patient and positive.

Hmm, I heard about 1015's party, PVD right? Is anyone going there before going to the Civic Center? I'm just not sure if I should sacrifice the first hours of the official party or not. Also I saw that the capacity for the civic center is 10,000..that's in sweet, not too big of a party.

Again, can someone please tell me how to post a pic under my user name. Damnit!

Re: hotel, please see my post above starting with "After making my reservation..." It looks like the Chancellor's rates have gone up since I booked there, probably due to limited availability, but I'm sure that Wes would give you the best rate his hotel has to offer. This hotel is located in Union Square, but is easy access to most everywhere by taking the Muni (underground train).

Also, some more hotel tips in the thread "Hotel De La TA Love Parade Style!" Good luck! :)

LP After Party tix are now $50 online. Who knows in stores. If you've got extras to sell, I am sure you can get rid of them at a good price. I'll be there with a group of 10 peeps or so. I've completely abandoned the idea of heading to 1015 after...by the time I would get there, gain admittance (down $40-$50 minimum), wade through the sea of fobs, get push, shoved...I imagine my buzz will hav been completely killed by then (and yeah who knows when pvd even plays!). If I've gotten anything left in the tank by then, which I doubt, cause I am starting at 12 noon, I'll probalby just head to the Endup.

Tickets in stores are $40 still I believe.

I asked about PvDs set time and indications are that it won't be anywhere near the 4am-7am time range... :(

hmmm...7am-9am then? If not, then guess I won't cut out of the Love Parade afterparty early to catch Paul! :whip: Maybe I can see Paul in LA and sell my SF tix instead, esp. if PVD sells out at Spundae...

Do the hotels mentioned have secure parking lots? I use to live in SF and had my previous car broken into on several occasions

The Chancellor hotel offers:

Off Site Private Parking
$22/Over night (Open 24 Hours with Unlimited In and Out Privileges)

Valet Parking-Passenger Cars
$30/Over night Unlimited in & out
(Large vehicles and SUVs add $11.00)

You can email wtyler@chancellorhotel.com (manager) and I'm sure that he would let you know what kind of security there is, etc. Good luck, and see you at the Love Parade! :D

First, this is a real tough decision if I had to make one....because of how ticket prices are going up so fast. The Bill Graham event ends at 4am and the Ten15 event ends at 9am.

Both lineups are stellar, but other than PvD, Ten15 has a much more prog/housey/some breaks lineup while Bill Graham has a much bigger Trance and D&B lineup when all is said and done although it does have like Carl Cox, DJ Dan, and Bad Boy Bill so don't think house/techno is being ignored.

At Ten15, you'll get the club atmosphere, crazy lights, I imagine Kryo this night, etc, but at the same time it's going to be a sardine fest because the place is going to be SOOOOOOOOOO f'in packed. PvD by himself makes Ten15's main room one of the most uncomfortable places I've ever been to. It's just crushing. At Bill Graham you'll have the crazy massive atmosphere, lasers everywhere, and probably a much friendlier crowd overall. But sometimes the massive experience isn't so intense compared to the more intimate club experience.

In the end, I really wish both sides would announce time slots...or mainly just Ten15, because for all we know PvD would be playing from like 4am - 8am or something and then buying tickets to both would be possible. Go to Bill Graham until 4am then run over to Ten15 and party as the sun rises.

I'll be at Bill Graham because I'm helping out Spundae...but if personally had to choose just from a lineup persective...well, I'd still choose Bill Graham. If I had to choose from the experience perspective...I'd probably still choose Bill Graham, because I can't enjoy listening to music while my lungs are being crushed at the same time.

LMAO!@@!!!!!!:haha: :haha: :haha: well put Dave, PvD himself makes it impossible to breath, takes up so much oxygen, I think it will be super fn packed, people will be dancing ON TOP OF EACH OTHER :)

I'm going w/ the Skills/Spundae afterparty cause, man WTF! Ferry KvA and EVERYONE ELSE WHOS BADASS!!
