Hey all
I'm heading to London for 2.5 weeks, starting August 7th. I'll be staying with my Aunt and Uncle, and I'm pretty sure they've got the sightseeing thing covered during the day.
However, it would be nice if someone could point me in the direction of some great clubs to check out in the later hours. The clubs in Vancouver lick my ass, and good DJ's don't show up that often (and when they do, it's expensive).
If anyone has any other recommendations that I "must see/do" while I'm in London, I would be cool with that as well. For your help, I may just buy you a drink :)
Thanks for reading

On Friday 12th August The Gallery digs deep within its musical box to deliver another across-the-board night of house, trance, techno and everything in between. Fresh from his L.E.F world tour, Dutch trancer and one of the World’s Top 10 DJs Ferry Corsten returns to play at his exclusive London home. He joins The Gallery’s Italian hero of electronic bleeps and beats, Benny Benassi and the firm crowd favourite Dave Seaman – still packing ‘em in after all these years. There’s still room for a rare glimpse of Australia’s multi-talented prog/breaks king, Luke Chable - the man responsible for global smash ‘Ride’ (with production partner Bonnici) a couple of years ago, with Galaxy Radio DJ/presenter Paul Kershaw rocking out the trance at the night’s end. Brighton’s finest Ciaran McCarthy also steps up to the table, to kick off the party in style.
Room 2 meanwhile adopts more of a house influenced flavour with backroom faves Soundworx returning for their monthly dose of dark drums and tribal beats. New resident James Mowbray (Mixmag), continues to dazzle with his CDJ work out, and this time round he’s let loose on the bugger for a full 3 hours!! Not to be outdone, special guest for the night – the always awesome Flavio Vecchi, turns in his own 3 hour performance, taking the night on a more techy direction, to the delight of this very loving cosmopolitan crowd. Warm up hero Gavin Quiet kicks off the madness early doors. |
