| I just picked up the City Link today and was checking out some of the goings on when I stumbled upon a quote from the mayor of Hollywood Mara Giulianti. She states "Nightclub DJs create anti-establishment feelings with the music they play" and starting in October DJ's in Hollywood can't spin past midnight anywhere alcohol is served. I had to read this about 10 times before i could believe it. Great move Hollywood! Scrubs:whip: |

Damn it, anti-establishment? Current forum bickering aside, most trance and EDm fans are a peacefull bunch. If she has to pick some type of music to scapgoat why did it have to be EDM?
Unless of course she was refering to Rap DJ's which is a different story. |

in any cayse it says dj's are not allowed to play where alcohol is served. that can be polka dj's for all the city cares. unless it specifically says what genre then its all dj's. |

The city could care less if its EDM polka produced by Dre. I just can't believe that this was an issue in city hall and the only thing these people could come up with is to blame a DJ. As a matter of fact I'm changing my motto in life to "Blame the DJ" Whats that Bush?? WMDs
BLAME THE DJ Cant find Osama "God damn DJs probably got him hidden somewhere" Unemployment "DJs" Pension Fund vanish? Check the nearest DJ. The only thing that creates Anti-establishment feelings seems to be the establishment. |
