This s pretty cool, its called the iDJ... FinalScratch eat your heart out :whip: :whip: :whip:

Numark (manufacturer of quality DJ equipment) will be releasing the long-awaited iPod mixer today as part of summer 2005's product line, the iDJ is a two channel mixer with the ability to accept all iPod models with dock connector ports. The mixer will be retailing for around $399, which shouldn't be too much of a problem if you're already rocking TWO iPods.

i thought that too jace, but perhaps its the mixer itself that modifies the input's pitch.

The idea of rocking up to a gig with just two portable harddrives (ie the ipods) is attractive, but i reckon the ipod hard drive would be too slow for this to work effectively anyway.

This was posted in the DJ Booth a while ago and just recently too. I think its pointless and a pretty silly idea. Think about the money your spending on two ipods and the mixer. Also, unless that jogwheel is going to be the pitch control then it has no hope of becoming more then a toy i think because honestly how can you mix decently without pitch control.
