if its something you load on a laptop then its most definately a software synth. probably a vst which you should be able to load into your favourite sequencer.
gimme a bell if you need assistance. |

NAMM - Video (pretty useless but funny!)
A company called GMEDIA make this VSTi. These are also the people behind impOSCar (which is a VSTi imposter of ye ol OSCar (legendary analouge synth).
Dude if you want to quickly master synth programming, then I'd highly recommend this free e-book (pdf): How To Make A Noise
This explains stuff from the ground up really well :D
Also, the oddity is not the easiest sucker to get your head around (it's type of synthesis is a bit of an.. well oddity really, and it's not too widely used so I'd stick the documentation that came with it. If you're happy to cruise the presets then go hard, but if you want to get into synthesis, then go for something like NI Pro-53 (VSTi version of the old Sequntial Circuits Prophet-5). This thing employs the tradition signal flow: oscillator (standard multiple types) > Filter > Envelope.
It's widely used to this day (hey begic? :D) and tute's are readily available. |

yeah, the pro 53 is a great synth actually, i've used it in pretty much all productions marsh. ;)
just about any synth that follows the osc, filter, amp style will be easy to program when you've mastered one of them i suppose. the sounds may differ but the technique shouldnt vary all that much |
