KOOL AID mutha a!
I suggest a little party for as many trance addicts and friends who want to come out. All day, djs wishing promo >swicth mixin while all r enjoyin the scenery, and barbeque .
Come out relax in the counry, bring your goods, play your favorite tracks or listen to others favs, cook some dinner, drink some booze and have an evening fire.
Possible 4 deck DJ booth (2V 2cd) , out door enviro, chill ampere gathering. Music, dinner and drinks followed by bonfire.
Boys + Girls + Summer = GOOD FUN! Come one come all...
Date to be set according to positive response... Or private party to be un-announced! |

Awesome idea. You know I'm down with htelping out this cause anytime. I've always thought that we needed a good TA Lower mainland party, and of course anyone would be invited :o
I'm thinkin outdoor for sure! I'd actually prefer it to be a daytime event, or an allday event. That way there's really no time constrictions as to when the music has to be shut off. And I think it should be in a nice,open,public place!
I think back to Toronto and they held the iDance every year, where EDM supporters gathered outside city hall buildings and had a massive allday rave, with international DJ's showing up for a quick 1/2 hour, 45 min sets to show thier support. It's probably one of the best events I've ever been too. Close to 20,000 partiers showed!
So that's my idea of a quality outdoor daytime party, but I know there's NO WAY we can get that kinda thing happening, maybe in the future, but it's different here.
I think a fantasic place would be somewhere in Stanley Park, but who knows how that would work....
funny, all I do all day while walking around, is think about places that I could through parties and how to set them up... then I think about the $$$$ :eek:

OK, I'm looking at a map of the lower mainland now...
I think we need to find out where everyone is coming from first, then pick the most convenient location.

i'm coming way out from pitt meadows, i think having it at somewhere close to vancouver. maybe someone with connections in the club industry could set something up just for ta's or a small bar of some sort? but if that doesn't work maybe a houseparty. they had one in toronto to a while back that was a huge success |
