yeah... well i just found out im going camping that weekend, so yeah it is doubtful i'll attend, unless camping doesn't pan out. |

here's what i think will work for september 2. this is the night when armin comes to vancouver.
1. meet up at 7:00pm at a specified location
2. mingle for 15-30 min depending how patient we are waiting for late comers. :D
3. head to pre-determined restaurant together (anyone needing rides can pre-arrange something with someone on the roll-call)
4. dine
5. head to plush and arrive at the door between 10:00 to 10:30pm
6. go in and party! :D
the meetup time can be shifted earlier or later to accomodate as many people as you can. if everyone is down with something simple like that, we can start a roll-call in a new thread.
other suggestions are also welcomed. it can be bowling, driving range, go-karting or even sky-diving for all i care. :p
but anyway, if you guys really want a real meetup, this is one of the better ways as everyone does get to know each other before the party. its up to you guys. i can help organize this but if you guys are more into throwing your own party, then good luck on that. :p |
This is a great idea, but the whole reason i was putting this party together was for a good "free" party. It is supposed to be casual, with no pressures of time restraints or financial expendatures. We would be our own entertainment. No need to go bowling or etc. there would be a schedule of all sorts of events for the day, and ppl could choose to participate or not. The main feature would be the dj sign up list. Since this is an outdoor party lighting and that would not be necessary and i could easily slam together a decent dj table and sound system. If ppl wanted to spin a set, they sign on the list, and if noone wants to we just slam on a cd or some . And the boozin would be cheap and the bbq would always be fired. You can only enjoy a club, or a promoters event so much. This party is personal...
I havent totally blown this off this year, i just had a bunch of go down all at once that hindered my ability to supply a quality party. Im hoping i can straighten most of this out in a month or so before it gets too cold, and if not theres always next year!
