they lost gelinas. amonte is overrated, he's past his prime. mccarty was signed because they lost a tough guy, don't remember who.
they could possibly even lose kiprusoff.
however, i think they will fare better this year as opposed to last.
on the other hand, i see teams like the thrashers and panthers doing better, and some other teams are attempting to boost themselves like philly (i hate hatcher) and columbus (foote).
thankfully, someone took malik off the 'nuck's hands. god he so sucks. NYR wants to pay him 2.5 mill to stand there like a penalty taking dork. go for it.
should be an interesting year, HOWEVER, rumor is, next summer will be a lot more busy compared to this year, as the age limit for unresricted agents drops to 8 seasons. you think this year has a lot of free agents? next year will have nearly double. |
