as for money, yes. it's insane what they make, then again they do do a lot of work we never hear about. we never hear about the training and hard work the good guys put in, we only ever hear about the whiney players like peca, nedved and jagr.
also, look at baseball and basketball, where players make 10-20 million a year. i've seen contracts for like 5 years for like 100 million. now that's insane.
you get crap like that happening, and more and more players being paid USD (because it used to smoke CDN) and they sit there making 500k a year (way more than i'll ever make) and they see guys in other sports making millions more, what do you expect? as the market has moved south (bettman throwing in more US teams), more players expect to be paid more like other 'americanized' sports.
it sucks. it really does. who cares, game on! |

it doesn't really matter. if its not them (actors/atheletes) making all the money, its the investors making all the money. either way, we are still going to be paying their fat payroll. :whip: |
