Hailing from Toronto, Matt Dublin is one of the most diverse DJs who is constantly striving on breaking new musical ground. Formally known as Decepticon, this veteran DJ of nine years has consistantly delivered high energy house and break sets throughout Canada and the US. In 2004 he was crowned Heineken Thirst Dj competition winner in Canada, and played alongside Pete Tong, and Danny Howells for the Toronto leg of the Thirst tour.
Currently Matt can be found at one of greatest record shops, 2thebeat records as one of the house, hip hop, and break-beat buyers, and on 1groove.com where he hosts an internet radio show which past guests have included The Chemical Brothers, Josh The Funky 1, and local hero Paranoid Jack. Matt Dublin's keen ability to read crowds and energetic stage presence have cultivated a following across Canada and 2005 promises to be a break-out year for this Toronto native. |
