I don't know if anybody else had the misfortune of going to that rave that Robert Miles was spinning at, but if you didn't go, more power to you.
For starters, I was quite surprised that Miles would spin at such a ty venue (A rollerskating rink). To make things worse, they had a bathroom that only had 4 stalls and huge lines to get water. It was hot and smelly inside of the rink and there were a bunch of kids there getting ed up.
Just as I was hoping that Robert Miles would make the whole situation better, I was shocked that it became worse. I don't know what his idea of downtempo was, but the stuff he played for the first 30-45 minutes was total crap. Just sounded like a bunch of noise. NOTHING, not even CLOSE to what he produced on his first CD. We were so disgusted with the whole situation that we left after only being there for no more than 45 minutes. Thirty dollars in the toliet.
I don't know if anybody else stayed any longer, but from what I was hearing, I didn't think he could transition into anything better from the crap he was playing.

Reading that made me sad.. The part about stinky kids getting ed up, u guys paying 30 bucks for the venue and leavin 45 minutes into the party.. damn =( sad day it must of been..
