Breaking out of Las Vegas in the early nineties, The Crystal Method ¨C Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland ¨C have been mainstays on the American and international electronic music scene for nearly a decade. Often seen as AmericaĄ¯s answer to the UKĄ¯s Chemical Brothers, The Crystal MethodĄ¯s fusion of big beats with late-'80s pop, hip-hop, rave, techno and rock music is intoxicating. The band's 1997 full-length debut, Vegas, sealed the band's worldwide profile, spawning blockbuster singles like "(Can't You) Trip Like I Do" and "Busy Child," followed by a flurry of remix projects for the likes of Moby, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The Doors.

The Crystal Method's willingness to experiment and expand their sound to encompass different genres has made them one of the most widely known and respected electronic groups in the world. They have collaborated with a diverse array of artists including Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland, Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, and The RootsĄ¯ Rahzel, and have sold millions of records worldwide. In 2004 they received three Dancestar Music Awards: Best Act, Best Album (Legion of Boom), and Best Single ("Born Too Slow"). That same year they were nominated for a Grammy for "Best Electronic/Dance Album" ¨C the first year that the category was introduced at the Grammy Awards.

The Crystal Method has challenged the mainstream's pre-conceived notions of what an electronic band can be, and their live shows during 1999's Family Values Tour proved that they can stand toe to toe with rock heavyweights like Limp Bizkit, Korn, and Primus. DonĄ¯t miss America's No. 1 dance act for this special Shanghai performance.
