humm, from all the reviews I have read it was overall positive.

Could you point me to where you basing your comment from?

I got to mix on the djx 700 before and wasnt very impressed. However since this is your first time mixing I'm sure you'll find it fine for your needs. Once you get nice an comfortable you can always upgrade.

i've heard both good and bad reviews from different threads. i've never personally used the djx700, so i have no experience on that particular model. maybe try using the search? maybe something with pop up.
alligator
never used that particular model, but used a behringer before. i can't say it didn't do the job, plus it was the first mixer that i used on a more constant basis. it was ok for begining, but if i would ever make the decision to buy another mixer it won't be a behringer.

as far as reviews, i've read mostly negative reviews about it. i also heard they use very poor pieces to built their products.

Think about this.. they are trying to emulate high end mixers, ramming all these features into it, and selling it for so low...

"If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is" - unknown.

I have used it a couple times, never had any major complaints accept for the fact that the sound was crap, the sound of the efx were crap, and the faders were bleeding (was almost new), it could of been just that one.. *shrug*

man.. i hate to say it, but i have a behringer mixer and it is horrible

i mean it gets the job done but it really is nowhere near a good quality mixer

their studio line of things is good but stay away from behringer for DJ stufff..

yep. my dx626's crossfader started bleeding really badly the 3rd time i used it.. i had it for maybe a day and a half. i've tried cleaning it, oiling it, nothing helps. it's truly a piece of :nervous:

i would never buy a behringer mixer. are you serious?

[Chriz]
i've used one before and the efx don't do ...i'm currently dumping it for a rane...had enough of behringer...but well..you might think of it as a beginner's mixer...
gorex
well,
I really hope that all the negative points listed above will not apply to my particular mixer.

eventhough I have a return policy - I could simply not afford atm a rane, a xone or even a numark mixer...

As I said before, Im hoping that this gear will get me going for a little time.

thks alot for the feedback!
