Hi guys!
I'm a frenchie form Rijsel, so i live not far from you, and i must say that this year, the frenchs suck at the Tour de France...
My favorite team this year is Quickstep, that's a shame that this Tom Boonen has quit the Tour...
I hope to see him next year on The Champs Elysées, fuly dressed in green!
:p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p |

He's a real hero in Belgium.
Tom was in every newspaper every day for the past three weeks, he made the frontpages of every gay-ass gossip-magazine in Belgium, everybody's talking about him every second of the day. Our hope for the green, our savior, our superhero! He won two etappes and everybody was so sure he would keep the green until Paris, because he's a God.
Then his mate Kevin Hulsmans (from Quickstep as well ofcourse) had to leave the tour because he didn't make the finish line in time. Well our newspaper had about 10 lines (in a corner of a page) on that topic.
The next day Tom Boonen left the tour. Oh my god the shock! Two and a halve pages over Boonen (!), then there was the daily column by his girlfriend as well, because she's so important... The day after that they wrote half a page about how his knee was doing, fully detailed.
Doesn't seem quite fair to me. Boonen is a great cyclist, I like him a lot too, but jesus christ he's not going to bring worldpeace or something.
Give more respect to the other belgian cyclists, from Davitamon and Quickstep, who're working their ass off every day. They r0x!

I second that!
If boonen hadn't his "pilot-fish", as we say in France, he'd never won a lot of races... I prefer the winning Boonen of the classics, like in Paris-Roubaix for example...
Same for Robbie, if he won in montpellier last week, it's thanks to his cycling mates...
by the way, Philippe Gilbert did a great race today ;) |

Eindelijk reageer ik nog es hier :P
2 dingen te zeggen...
1) Mayo, verdomme Spanjool! Wa was da?
