Attempted break in assume?
Flashy car Mark, be careful. I used to drive an '88 5.0 litre Mustang, security is priceless when it comes to your baby :nervous:

to make a long story short, on monday night a suspicious guy in a pontiac was parked directly across the street from my car and my sister's bf caught him scoping out my car at 11pm. we called the cops to have them check on whats up and the guy in the pontiac left 10 minutes after the cops questioned him.

last night, they came and tried to steal the car. they popped open my hood and that triggered the alarm to go off at 2:45am last night. i woke up, without my glasses or contacts, i recognized an early 90's mustang driving off from where my car was parked on the street.

they screwed up the hood release now so i can't open my hood. i am gonna double check on that though cause it should be an easy fix.

call me paranoid but i think i am being profiled and quite possibly from those car websites that i go to. this is the first break-in attempt in all of the 3 years that i've owned this car. to be honest, i am very very lucky to get away with only a screwed up hood release.

i guess i am kinda glad they came and went with empty hands though. this is a good wake up call for me. i'm not invincible afterall. :p

Maybe it's time to look into parking your car indoors or undergorund somewhere. If you have to walk a block or 2 to get to your car... it may be worthwhile.
