Rege/\/esis 7:22, inspired mostly by space tribe and hallucinogen (the song angelic particals by H. and telepathic by ST.).

i made it on a rainy day, kind of a gloomy day. It was finished in about 3hrs with a couple of little edits over the course of a few days.

BPM: 158 (yes a bpm not a bitrate :p )
style: goa/psy

edit: this song has been completely reworked, many months later, thought i'd dig it up and rearrange it, put more time into it...

i listened to the track, and i will post a better detailed review after. i wrote one, but i deleted. im dead tired and i was really at a loss for words. ill do one tommarow. i liked it, but i do think some well placed psychedelic sounds one-shot sounds would...give it more...power.

ill elaborate much more if i can remeber to, tommarow.

your name actually caught my attention in the first place:
"canadian didjer". do you actually play? adding some didgeridoo in that track, if done right, would sound absolutly killer. at least for an intro. mabye some hand drumming too. give it more of a tribal feel. bah, just an idea. ive been working on alot of psy trance myself and id love to some kind of collaboration, just for fun.

also, are you going to see Space Tribe (among others) at Karma music festival out in squamish on the 30th?!

going to be so killer! :happy2:

Intro is great up until 1.25 and then that synth just drops and it sounds like a wet fart. The melody that its playing too doesnt even compare to the other one you have at 2.16. I think with the right sound it could work, but right now its not happening for me.

The rest of the track kinda meanders around pretty randomly. You got a few rise and drops there, I think less of those and it could work well. Just keep building it for longer.

4.55 is a cool change. Definately feel it building up here. Still feel like that synth could sound a lot brighter though. Meeds some upper midrange boost for sure.

Otherwise, some cool tweaked out psy. Keep up the trippy work ;)

Ok pal.I'm not hear to judge you but this track needs a lot of work.
First of all the sounds are like midi.In other words you don't want to hear it second time only for this reason...I guess you produce trance to be heard at clubs...So you must find a way to produce phat sounds;)
Second you are too repetitive for me.Try to work on changes of a track with drum prog. or with loops.

Sorry to be so hard mate Everybody we're trying to improve ;)

hey guys...
axolotyl:
the "wet fart" is put in to distract the listener wihle the synth changes patterns and when its gone, your left with a dark synthy pattern.

I've really been looking forward to Karma '05, but uh... I can't come up with the money I was gonna take my mom to it... but uh... ya.

didj/drumcircle, firespinners... sounds pretty cool, plus SPACRTRIBE!!!! his music got me into psy and goa...

oh man did that intro hurt my ears, i can barely hear now...

suggestions-take out that intro efect or just tone it down a bit. percussions need some work, right now it sound a bit basic and somewhat sampled. I also hear a bit of distortion too- specially with the kick. You've got some great ideas tho and im sure with a bit of mastering and a new kick this might sound a lot better. I can't really hear a melodic progression, so if you want to keep it minimal like it is now, you need some energetic transitional elements. Try listening to some infected mushroom- see how they keep you on edge...

some of the fx are good and the one 303 ish bassline is good for this goa ish type of stuff. most of the rythmic transitions are good, and you have a lot of potential.

just keep working at it and hey, when your happy with it then thats great :) dont take my word on it, im just one opinion.

Pretty whacked out stuff. Though it repeatese way too much for me. Also the sounds are kinda thin and weakish. I'd be intereted in seeing what comes up on a paz analysier. I don't know if you specturem is entriely full. But keep workin at it, you'll get some stuff goin.

You got great ideas just give us more stuff to listen to so we arent board.
