I think escee sounds pissed off, and i would be too. I mean, all these DJ's from a LOCAL TRANCE SCENE, puttin up their own promotion threads, on (funnily enough) a LOCAL TRANCE FORUM. how dare they?!
I am dumbfounded that, all those who complain about promo threads, fail to realise two things.
First one is simple -> promotion threads for a trance related dj/party are in fact; wow, would you look at that, trance related discussion. (i.e. the whole reason we are all here to start with)

It's that simple guys, dont want part of it, then dont have part of it, but dont go and make a moronic fuss over it.
Personally i love having promo threads posted on TA, it's where i get as much info as i can about most gigs, especially local stuff, and, I have NEVER ONCE looked at the self promotion thread! Why would I, when parties and download-my-mixes are available in there own threads.
Not having to look at promo threads is not n hard (if your still struggling, re-read above post, until u get it), if u have other issues like spam emails, take it up with who sent u them. Opt out, tell them thanks but no thanks, no need to go acting like a head.
