Ferry Corsten at Zinc Orlando Review

DarkAngel
Right. I got to ZINC a little after 11 so I had to pay $15 at the door. Still not too bad. The place was already JAM packed and the opening DJ was playing some crap I didn't care for. :thepirate I made it to the back of the bar and Ferry was just arriving as well. Most of the TAs were in the back, in and around the VIP section. Ferry started his set and got into the groove right away. The place was outta control, but so DAMN hot. Colleen commented to me about the heat being similar to the Club SPIN incident in SoBe during WMC. All great tunes, not a beat missed, but DAMN, I was a MESS after leaving ZINC, and as you saw in the pics, me and Colleen had our pic taken with Ferry. I thanked him for playing MY SONG and asked if he was gonna play it again at AMP, and of course he did. :toocool: Aside from the heat and the...eh, VIP situation which I will NOT elaborate any further, it was a GREAT night. ICON is still better suited to handle Ferry, IMO though. ZINC would be remotely similar to MIA Lounge in Hollywood, but at least ZINC has a lot more room.

Cheers.

So, I did not make it to the Orlando or Tampa sets and I am still in San Francisco. But I get to see him after all, he will be playing here tonight and I am going. Awesome! :)

Thankx. And it was nice meeting you too, dude. Thanks for that water. That bar was too damn hot, man. I literally upended some of the melted ice from the champagne bucket into my shirt 'cause I was so damn overheated. Thank GOD I didn't drink, I would have dehydrated. :nervous:
