German rave/trance scene.

linarator
Hi,

I am an American Student who is going abroad next year to Germany for the school year (basically a year). I was curios whats popular over there and how strong the dance scene is. Particularly with the Hardcore, and Psychedelic trance scene. Also, are raves common? Or is Germany all about House, or nothing at all? OR OR ORORROOR !!! AHHHH... sorry, I'm just really curios about how it is over there. Help a clueless kid out? :toothless

Thanks in Advance,
Max! :toocool:

PS - Sorry, I can't speak/write German much yet! :)

for pretty much all your psy/goa needs, can be switched to english (international site), with partylistings for all over the world

psy is very strong, but very community-oriented
southern germany gets more of the smaller parties, northern germany more of the huge (15k pax+) parties

EDIT: house? WTF is house? *g*

Someone has to destroy the american's image of Europe being the thing to go to when it comes to clubbing all night to dance and trance :p

We only have a few good partys in a month. And even then, those are scattered over the whole of Germany / Holland.
In most cases you gotta cope up with driving for 100 till even 200 miles to get to a decent party :(
