i have put up with 4 years of hard dance so that i could one day see a lineup like the one at godskitchen.
i do agree though, the whole melbourne hard trance/dance scene has dropped off a hell of a lot in recent times. im not complaining tho', in fact i love it. |

It may have dropped off to an extent but its not as if the "fluffy" trance scene (incorporating melodic, 'uplifting', progressive, etc) has exactly taken off or grown at all...
Their biggest nights still only include stuff like 5AM at Room and Trancsend at Altitude, which are both pretty small nights when compared to how big HK, Bassstation, Bubble are or have been in the past.
Personally I love seeing acts such as Above & Beyond and Gabriel & Dresden given the main stage at events like GK, but variety is the spice of life and i would equally enjoy a set from the likes of Yoji. |

Not complaining about the line up, i reckon its great, but i am surprised by it. God's normally does produce a hard trancer in its line up normally without fail
on a side note - if this event is in one of the mian arenas does that mean the walk ways around the stadium are going to be turned into makeshift stages just like when sanchez played before tiesto a few NYE's ago. If so i hope its a no name dj playing there because that sort of set up was an insult |
