Some Questions about Soundbar (Dress Code, Where is it) for Sasha...

Basically I'm just wondering how close Soundbar is to the parts of Chicago I am familiar with (The Vision/Dearborn area)... I like to stay in the same hotel each time I go, they give me an unreal deal, and it's only like a block or two from Vision (Hilton Garden Inn), but I've never been to Soundbar before, and I'll definitely be there for Sasha on Friday...
And also, and likely more important, what can I expect for a dress code? I've heard that Soundbar actually enforces a dress code as opposed to Vision which BASICALLY lets anything go... I know it's going to be so ing hot, and I'd like to be as comfortable as possible, and I'd especially like to be able to wear some comforable dancing shoes (i.e. some nice new brown Adidas kicks I just bought... I can post pics if necessary :D)
I just really don't want to pay for presales, then show up at the door and have some novelty size dude in a suit tell me I can't come in b/c I look like a clown...
Thanks in advance. Peace, Cheers,

soundbar is located just about 3-4 blocks away from vision.
so if you get a hotel anywhere in the vision aread, you can easily walk to soundbar.
regarding the dresscode;
if you dont look like you just got out of bed or just got out of your landscaping job, you'll be fine to get in. i think that if you buy presales, they probably wont look at your outfit that much since you already paid to come in.
:D
see you there

hi DJ RJT
yes its true sound bar has a dress code. but all the times i have been there i have slipped in with sneakers. sound bar is not exactly close to vision, but its only a 15-20 min walk from grant station.
from grant keep going straight and then you need to turn right[not sure where, under a railway bridge] , a few blocks then u reach sound bar. or u can take a cab and reach there in like 5mins. |

So, do you think that theses shoes:
With a nice pair of jeans/nice shirt would cut it? No?
I just really don't like dealing with any kind of dress code... especially if I have to travel to the event.... |

like the shoes..was thinking about getting a pair of those myself
I've been burned with the sneakers rule, so I would say to anyone not to wear them. I think its just more of a situational thing with them anyway. No set rule. But maybe theyre letting them fly a little bit more so long as theyre not too dirty etc. I dont think that outfit would present any sort of problem though. |

again,
for the sasha show, if you dont look like a bum, you'll get in.
if you buy a presale ticket, they have no incentive to turning you away SINCE YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID TO ENTER THE CLUB; therefore you'll have no problems going in. |
