Okay guys, here's something.
Is it just me or when you watch a friend/relative beat a game you have, that you haven't beaten yet, does it ruin your replay value?
Example:
my #T^*$%*(& nephew did this to me with 4 in' games:
Grand Theft Auto III
Metal Gear Solid II: Sons of Liberty
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
He'd come over and play so much that he'd somehow beat the games before me, therefore RUINING my experience.
Now, I almost never play GTA:SA and that's the one game I hadn't beaten yet.
Anyone know what I mean here? :whip: |

please tell me your nephew isn't under 13 years old. my advice: learn how to play vidyagames better
:wtf:
but it doesn't bother me unless i actually WATCH them play the game and the ending. if they play it and beat it while i'm not around then why care if they beat it since i haven't seen what the game has to offer yet. |

That's basically what happened. :o I used to sleep a lot more in the daytime, and he used to be here all the time, so I would wake up and find myself seeing the ending to MGS2. I told him he's never allowed to do that again if it's in my house.
He can't do it anymore now anyway, since he left to the National guard in March. |

good.
the little f**ker!
lol worse than that is when your at the end of the game and leave for a moment and some 4-14 year old gets on your system and "accidentally" deletes your game...
so you get him back in some humorous way.
...and then his parents hate you.
anyone? |

| I actualy don't mind watching a game being played if the person doing it is doing it well. However, yeah, seeing it beat does take some of the motivation out of playing it myself. Except if its MGS, that game is worth playing no matter what, even if you know everything. And as for GTA, the fun of the game is the game itself, rather than the story, so you should still be able to go through it all and get a lot of the game out of it. |

| I've never had this done to me personally, but I was guilty of doing this quite a bit growing up. I would always go over to my friend Danny's house and beat the out of every game he had just bought. |

| My friend and I have a rule where we won't play past each other's furthest point they've made it in the game. |
