I haven't hear dit yet, but, I was looking at Tiesto's tracklistings for 2005, and I noticed he's been playing a DJ Montana Edit of Push - Universal Nation
Has anyone heard this yet, where can I hear it? |

| i heard it. its pretty much the same as original mix or the live version. its the same thing montana did with traffic. |

| As much as I like Montana, he's really gotta start doing something new with his stuff. He's gonna fade out real quick if he doesn't start experimenting a little more. It also probably has a lot to do with him being Tiesto's brother :rolleyes: |

It's a nice, harder interpretation of the song.
It's a lose lose situation with remixing an old track. You either make it too much like the original or not enough like it. Be happy he kept the integrity of the original in tact and just gave it a nice spin.
I think that when a DJ tries to remake a classic oftentimes they literally remake the entire thing or just screw up all the good elements from the track. |
