What can I say...I had high expectations for this event, and I was not let down!
I went with some of the usual crew, Shanny, Nikitha, Chadly84 (and another non-TA). Came from Windsor around 10:30 and traffic was kinda crazy. Got in I think about 11:30. The opener, Elevation was it? was really good. Pumped me up for G & D. Then when Gabriel and Dresden came on...wow! They didn't let up all night. They pulled out TONS of my fave tracks (that I KNEW I would hear!), As the rush comes, No one on earth, southern sun...just to name a FEW. And then Automanual...just out of no where! I wasn't expecting that one at all.
I had a great time, dancing my little feet off. It was nice to have space to move around. I'm used to being packed into a sardine can at the Guvernment.
It was fun dancing with Chanoa, and nice to meet...Darren I think it was. I don't remember his TA name...I just remember him being "the guy with his head up his ass". Haha
Also...saw some flyers for Movement this year...looks like it's gonna be a good weekend! |

Glad to hear G&D rocked motor city as hard as they did Chicago...
You should definitely try and make it to Movement, that is going to be one clutch weekend... |

Sooo can anyone say that they didn't have a good time?
got in there around 11:30 with my crew ( ~*LiSa LoO*~, Chadly 84, Shanny and a good friend non-TA) after a hella crazy traffic situation
I was HELLA impressed by this entire night...
Elevation ROCKED that place! I had never heard/seen this guy before but MAN! He was busting out some dirty beats and was completly energetic that got me totally pumped the second I walked in the door.
And as for the men themselves...can I just say...wow...
I had seen Gabriel by himself at the Kool Haus in Toronto just a couple of weekends ago and he was amazing then so i knew i was in for a treat last night.. and I have to say i underestimated how good of a time I was going to have! they were dropping amazing tracks one after another... and played all of the tracks my crew and I had been hoping to hear...
They made my night by playing No One On Earth...wow.. so amazing.. i honestly think i am in love with that song...
overall amazing time... i'm glad my first time at Bleu was so enjoyable! hopefully i'll be heading over again this coming saturday for The Crystal Method ( one of my all time fav duos) and Evil 9, who gave me a new love for breaks when i saw them in March in TO.

what a weekend. G&D rocked bleu playing some very sick tracks especially towards the end of the night. ATRC was very nice to hear live, and around you has quickly become one of my fav tracks so it was awesome to hear that live as well. VIP was where it was at, seemed like everyone up there was having a lot of fun. Props to elevation for his killer set. Way to play that zeplin - i'm ganna leave you remix that was bad ass! Right when you droped that all the people sitting down or hanging on the bar rushed the floor, way to get the night moving.
Had a blast with the indy crew, i'm sure this weekend was fairly memorable:eyespop: see you guys at FUSE-in.
It was fun chillin earleir in the day mike, you make that look so easy:D, and your mom makes killer nachos.
All around great evening, great to see a lot of TAs there, too bad to whoever missed this show. |
