I'm having difficulty understanding the Logical Editor. I'm wanting to really learn how to use it well but I'm starting out with something basic. I simply want to select a midi event, and have the logical editor find all matching events in the project. It seems logically, looking at the editor, I'm doing it right. I've gone through the built in help file, which normally answers all my questions but I'm still stuck.
So here is what I'm doing. In the logical editor, in the upper left drop-down, I'm choosing Select. Filter Target is Type Is, Condition is Equal, and Paramater 1 is Note. I click Do It, none of the event's are highlighted. Only the one master event I've highlighted remains highlighted. What am I doing wrong here? I'm sure its something so simple I'm going to kick my own ass. Any help is greatly appreciated! |
