wanna hear a virus TI hypersaw?

a couple of jibes and pokes and it seems like ben crosland over at the unofficial access virus forum is gonna design a sound demo of a monster hypersaw lead. (for those who dont know - hes the guy in the winter NAMM video demoing the TI)
ok. so he asked if anyone has some high quality mp3s of what they consider to be an amazing jp80X0 supersaw sound. preferably a solo sound recorded straight from the jp80X0. i thought id ask you guys - since this is trance. we love supersaws. anyone with a JP that could bosh up a single supersaw patch? or anyone got an mp3 clip of a song where theres a solo JP supersaw lead that is absolutely textbook perfect?
im sure you are curious how the TI is gonna stack up ;)

How about Cygnus X - Superstrings? I think that's about as perfect as JP-80x0 supersaw lead gets. No? Also, if I recall correctly, Future Breeze - Temple of Dreams has a very nice JP-80x0 lead. I'll look through my vinyl collection when I get home and listen to some old trance tunes.

i was considering getting a clip of superstrings cuz that is an awesomely phat lead. my knowledge of regular trance is somewhat limited (im more of a psy guy and a hardcore fiend) although i love the jp sound. having tried to replicate the supersaw on my virus b and failing many times im very curious to see how the TI will stack up with the new oscillator.

Yeah, those sound sharp but the hypersaw sounds too mean. Even though, I guarantee you the hypersaw will be heard in a lot of upcoming trance tunes. Maybe it'll become a signature sound too, hehe.:tongue2 |

they don't add mastering to it :conf:
At most, they sometimes add delay or reverb.. but they don't do that in teh JP80x0 demos..
Just the ones that don't have those FX on board. |

oh, well, they mastered there sample cd demo with a uad-1, i thought that was there default proces. guess not |
