Really??? He's so high in the rankings because its commercial and dats what the majority of people like??? Its odd though you consider yourself to like the underground. You obviously like progressive dj's ie. Nick Warren, Sasha, Digweed... Well if the ratings of the Dj top 100 was simply based the notion that the top Dj's are up there simply because they play commercial, this would then make you a top commercial listener!! Why's that? Well in case you didn't notice Sasha, Digweed were both rated 2 and 1, respectively; with your boy Nick Warren at 28. And this is from the same dj top 100 that rated JJ number 11...

JJ does play some pretty commercial trance, however in think many of you guys fail to realise that he isn't a hardcore trance Dj. He tends to play lots of house music too... Thats what i like about JJ; he plays both house and trance tracks....

I wish a lot of you TA's wouldn't be so quick to judge Dj's without even going to see them... You guys should be critical yes, but bashing a Dj i think is just plain stupid....

Unless any of you guys have seen him live and see the effect he has on the crowd, i don't think you can say he sucks.... Sometimes what makes a really good dj isn't always the tunes that he plays but how he puts them together!!!

Let me give you some examples: Tall Paul played some good tracks but the set as a whole sucked the big one...
Before i went to see Mauro Picotto i thought he was ok because his sets that i had heard at home didn't really do anything for me... But when i got there he completely blew the roof off the place and played probably the best set i've heard this year!!!

Well said itikia,... how about you people go check out Judge Jules first, then post your impressions of him...

I know I'll be there for sure, since good trance (and I don't mean underground e either) coming from any European DJ is considered a luxury in this city...

I'm going to see JJ....personnally i think he is overrated but i'll go with an open mind and hope that the judge delivers the goods....something tells me though that most of the stuff he spins will either be cheeze or some of his own productions (which are cheeze as well !!!)

Fantom is right, let's not discuss JJ now, I am listening to him Live at lush and essential mix, and i can say he is not that bad.

And please ppl don't try to say if smth is crap or smth is not, one ady u like it one day u don't, I am getting pissed when ppl say Tiesto sucks or Ferry corsten suck, and i hear it more and more. I don't think they would say the same when they were listening to Magik''s or in search of sunrise, innercity 2 years ago. I didn't hear anything new from Sasha or Digweed but ppl continue to say that they are the best. If we'll talk in real, Not sasha, not digweed drove me that crazy as Tiesto and Corsten and AVD did.

Evybody like something different in trance, the most important part is THIS IS THE TRANCE. There is no such thing as crappy trance.

One more question, what do you mean by commercial trance....ed up trance, the most popular trace or what.....? While awesome song is not known it's called underground, and then when it becomes popular in a year it is called commercial and crapy. BULL!!! Good song will be the good song forever. And i will be more happy if millions of ppl gonna love it too...and we will be jumping in some night club together:clown: :clown: :clown:
