No offence.. but how is posting official announcements for world class events spam?

Doesn't make sense to have all of Twisted's events in a single thread either!

Kraig was simply making up for all of the posts he forgot to make, I don't see why there was any reason to close the threads.

:conf:

5 threads in one day, for events ~2 months away is too much, ESPECIALLY when they dont have the TA logo on the flyers (like mentioned in promotion rules thread, TA logo=better favour for your promotion.)

I plan on reopening in ~2 weeks when the earlier events pass.

do you really think making 5 threads in one day, for events as far away as May (notice I locked the 2 that are in late may, not the ones that are withing a month) is appropriate?

I certainly dont think it is, regardless of intent, I still think its spam.

And Im looking at some old Twisted Flyers..I dont see a TA logo in a single place, but please correct me if Im wrong. I see clubvibes etc, but not TA.

Im open to discussion, but keeping things clean is my 'job' so dont get on me for that.

--edit--
damn, I should have quoted you ;) We can argue and disagree, I might even change my mind if you convince me. Deleting your posts isnt going to convince me of much.

hm
i was actually kinda bitching that twisted hasnt made the announcements about these events because, apparently, they've been up on clubvibes and fnk for a while now.

i mean no disrespect for you jason, or for the rules, but if only the events with TA logo on the flyer are allowed to be posted, none of the previous flyers would have been allowed in the past and many of the future postings would not be allowed either. maybe a slight change in the rules should be done?

locking the threads for 2 weeks isn't going to solve much, especially when the rules were loosely enforced in the first place.
