Oh, Jesus in' CHRIST, not another "this system is better than that one" thread. Anyone else who browses this forum regularly, you guys notice that it's ALWAYS the newbies who post this ludicrous ?
As far as PSP and DS go, I'd get them both, if I had the money.
So newbie....
SHUT THE UP and take a hike.
Thank you. |

You know me all too well.
However, this is just calcumore. He probably got banned and came back with this username.
Let's take this one part by part, shall we?
dravencore3 says " DS" and that's really a shame since this is one of the most innovative and daring things that Nintendo, let alone any hardware company, has done (save for the Sega Dreamcast and their VMUs with screens). It's life has just started and it has quite a bright future even with the PSP coming out.
Then he says "even n gage". It's kind of easy to see that we're dealing with an uninformed person. Nokia sold so few of their NGage units that the NGage itself was removed from the ELSPA (Entertainment & Leisure Software Publishers Association) charts. Even ChartTrack, the company that compiles the sales had this to say: "The N-Gage chart, though still produced, is of little interest to anyone. Sales of the machine and its software have failed to make any impact on the market at all." When a console or handheld is no longer monitored by the ELSPA, THAT'S when you know it's dead. (However, this isn't meant to insult the NGage users. The NGage [the QD, in particular] is a great emulator and phone... but I don't think of it highly as anything else.) You are aware that the PSP will have a successor, right? :stongue:
We are obviously dealing with a newer generation gamer since he comments on the graphics. If anything, the older generation of gamers had anything but graphics in mind. I won't argue with you there, though, dravencore3. The graphics are gorgeous.
Well... the line about adults isn't entirely true. Nearly 40% of the market for the PSP is under the age of 18. Also, there are a ton of games that plan to be released that won't seem like they are for "adults". Anyways, who's to say what an "adult" game is and isn't.

It saddens me when people trade in older consoles, handhelds, and games. Maybe I just find all video games sentimental. Anyways, I don't think one should trade in a console/handheld unless they TOTALLY have a problem with it and/or it's software. The Nintendo Game Boy, DS, the Nokia NGage, and the Xbox are all machines with their own special contributions to the gaming world.

Sony is smart but they've never been the "king" in the handheld market. Nintendo has always had 90% to 95% of the market.
Hey dravencore3. I got a question for you. Have you seen the Game Boy Evolution? No. You haven't. Therefore your opinion is nothing more than that. AN OPINION. A biased one at that, too.
Now run along and play your overpriced PSP. Or are you charging it for the 4th time today? That must be it. :p |
