Have bigger screen/better graphics/better games/mp3 player/mpeg 4 player/memory stick duo/and is more available to play "free games" on it ;).
It's not end bewere =]. Ppl from China can do everythin =]. And im too poor to afford psp... ;) |

Easy path? Nintendo has stuck to their roots of creating consoles that are just for gaming in a world that desires to have a unit that is multimedia. The PSP is challenging the handheld world by introducing a new disc format as well as a gaming handheld that plays movies, music and displays pictures...not to mention the Wi-Fi multiplayer that runs nearly lag free.
Before you start the "Sony fanboy" stuff I will tell you that I have a PS2, Gamecube, GBA, GBC, N64, and SNES. |

The PSP, however, is not the first of its kind. The lesser known Tapwave Zodiac was a multimedia device. Also, you forget that the Dreamcast challenged the world with the GD-ROM and Gamecube followed up with small proprietary discs.
Wi-Fi multiplayer was introduced by the DS. However, it hasn't been applied in any games yet. A shame, really. Good for the PSP, though.
Plus, how do you know that the "world" desires a multimedia unit? I prefer my computer to be seperate from my music player, gaming console, and TV. Guess I'm from another world.
Let's think for a second, though... What is a gaming console for? Ah. That's right! Gaming. ;) Why would you need all that other crap if the point of your purchasing the thing is to play games?
It's those damn Japanese that want everything portable so that it'd fit in their smaller homes. We have fairly big homes... LET'S UTILIZE THEM, DAMN IT! :tongue2 |

However, Microsoft jumped into the next gen race between Sony and Nintendo out of nowhere. Apparently, according to the people that were top staff in its production, the console was a "trial run" for Microsoft so as to test out the waters of the video game world. Work on it was also started quite late. Expect X-Box 2/X-Box Next/ X-Box 360º/Xenon to have some seriously cool form factor. |

No... i'm not, i had GBpocket and GBC and this consoles were great (i sold them), i apriciate nintendos customs and work but when sony hit with their PSP everythin changed.
Ppl from polish forum gave the same arguments as you... but they are just ninny's fanboys and really dunno how PSP is able to become powerful against DS using chineese hands (i see you are too honest and rich to play "free" games on ur console XD).
If you want only console go and buy it but u must have really big pants if you want to put movieplayer/mp3player/gaming console/cell phone/camera and other things in the one pocket. Ur arguments sux... u r blind and u don't see what psp i able to be (sorry but i am not able to desire my feeling in the casual/polite way coz of my english - it isnt my root lang so be patient)
