OK, what I mean here is by stuff you've done thats made you feel realy bad, etc.
Here we go, apparantely not too bad but it made me feel like crap as I thought I was going to have to fork out another £80; I back-cued during Tomski - Love Will Come (Airscape Mix) and my Ortofon skipped off hitting the pitch dots, which I though would have phucked the needle, but it seems okay, i think.
and
I just got this promo of Dumonde vs Lange - Memory a couple of weeks back, and when I got to the top of the stairs, the bag split letting the record fall down the stairs, only for the dog to come and lick it, and I thought he was gotta finish it off by having a on it  but I stopped him just in time, cleaned it and its okay thankfully,
Share away bwoys and galls. It can be any event no matter how big or small, how important or not, if you were at a club etc. |

hmm..well Im constantly(not constant, but occasionally) dropping records, pick it up by the wrong end and WHOOP record falls out of its sleeve. No damage done yet
umm..I had the beat goin in the headphones, and i was in the mix..faded over and the mix was WAY off....I had chosen the PFL on the wrong channel, and I mixed into the middle of the melody..when I was supposed to have a build...(lucky for me this was @ home)
how about trying to play the wrong side of a single sided promo pressing? I swear ive never done that while drunk! |

Something REALLY embaressing happened to me about 2.5 years ago....listen and shiver
The record store I usually went to was closed for some reason, so I walked on to another record store I knew but never been to a block away.
So I browse thru a couple of vinyls, take some out, and when i had like a stack of 10 I went over to the turntable to listen to them, you know the drill.
The turntable had the top on it, so I had to open it, and after searching for the on-off button for a while, i managed to turn it on. Now, I always put a protective cap on the needles of my own turntables, so since I seemed to be the first that day to use that turntable I thought somehow (I dunno how!dumb) there was such a cap on the needle of the shop turntable. Ehhh, anyways, i ripped out the entire cartridge...I didn't notice and put the tonearm down, and of course the record didn't play...I ended up asking what might be wrong to the man behind the counter and he looked at me as if i was a walking heap of parrot hehe ah well we all start sometime. I never had the nerve to go back there again.
And ehhh at what used to be my regular record store I broke the SL's top....haha the owner didn't let me pay it back becuz I was a regular customer...embarassing! |

| I was spinning at a hopuse party for a freind, the house was jamm packed around 40 people their bouncing in-front off me. I am a head down DJ. It was about 1 hour into my set and i was ing loving it. I was bouncing all over, I looked up and everyone was bouncing theor boxes off. About 10 mins later i took a quick look up only to find their was no-one their . ??? I was so in puzzled, i search the garden and all over the hopuse even though i didnt live thier ?? i was so puzzled. This didnt stop me from doing my set though.he he he. I finished my set, performing to no one ( apart from the dog ) And then i hit home. The day after i rang my freind to question him about it, Aparently i had been spinning rave / very hard house. They said i was so they had to bail on me ! I was the laughing stock off school that month ! What a in loser. |

i recently spun at a big house party, on and off for 4/5 hours.. considering most of the guys there were "hardcore ravers" and didnt like trance for its *rep*, it was a success cuz the entire night EVERYONE was raving (no pun intended) about my wicked vinyl.
heheh. including the two other djs there, one a deep house newbie and one who spins out (hard trance)
so anyways i played from disco house (a lil') to a few breaks, and a lot of the stuff we all know.
as it got bigger, ppl were going nuts.. but then it was like 330 and everyone went outside to smoke (slowly, gradually)
i decided to peak my set, there were about 5 or so ppl always dancing.. after a few minutes i dropped epic monolith, imo my killer track. no one was there. everyone had gone outside. for the ENTIRE track. i killed my set shortly after that, mixing into hidden flight and then switching off... i was done
that PISSED me off though, that no one heard that monster track. hah. however i DID sample en motion - truth about 8-10 times during the night, that was a lot of fun :D |

I remember a while back i was mixing at this party in my home town, using decks i had borrowed from my m8.
I was playin a killer set of uplifting/power trance, when some drunken little bast spilled a whole can of beer all over one of the tt's and the mixer. Arggghhhhh! |

Well, you had to really be there to appreciate how bad it was but.... I was playing at a big party a local promoter had organised (about 1000 people), and I was right in the middle of my set, everything going great. Then the promoter comes over an says he wants to have a go. Well I know him quite well, and he thinks his a bit of a Killer DJ, although he can't mix, beatmatch or anything he just flings records in, trainwrecking all over the place. Well, he just stops the track thats playing and starts playing this other one. After its been playing for about 20 seconds, he spins it all the way back to the begining, then lets it play for another 20 seconds or so and then he does it again, and again, and again. In total he spun it back 12 times. While doing this, his also shouting down the mic things like 'Yeah' and 'C'mon'. Can you believe it! Finally, he lets it play and then tells me to continue. He walks off, the crowd are fuc*ing pi$$ed, and the atmosphere has just died. No matter what I played, the crowd just didn't get into it. What a nightmare!
