looks like i missed out on alot in the 2nd half.
i remember Jump The Next Train, then not a lot till Automanual..
so im also gutted that i missed out on hearing Sublime...
was a good night though.!.. plenty of laughs were had, and new things learnt... very eye opening getting to know the REAL JulesPLees... not the handbag house wanka that you think you see on here ;)
hahahaha..
didnt stay for pana, although would've liked to as he would've rocked it as usual.... |

Well, it was my first outing to Cage and initially I had one word for the place: GRIME. As the night unfolded, Steve's set after the skull pounding 'warmup set' (?!?) was like a breath of fresh air :), Thrillseeker/s (never got the plural thing?!?) set was pretty cool- specially toward the end where some really interesting ground was covered, eliciting a quite pleasant response. Fans = OK, but possibly a little too intense as I had to wear my jacket for the last few hours (prolly just me though). And Pana, as he has had a tendency to do recently I think, seemed to revisit an older era a little bit unleashing some personal fav's (of his and mine) so while I was buggered, I was also quite content :) Done son.
One thing that stood out to me though was the attitude of all the staff in the place. By stark contrast to several other venues I frequent, there was a distinct lack of the: "don't talk to me, I'm not part of your night, I just work here" attitude, which was another breath of fresh air. Hat's off for that.
So, my initial impressions of cage didn't endure really, and I'll probably pop my head in again at some stage :D |

Similar story here, I walked into the place and thought to myself "what a hole", also felt mildly embarrased to be presenting this place to an international.
However it did kinda grow on me after a while, and now that i think about it, its not that bad of a place really.

Yeah, me and my mates were wondering the same thing too, I always thought there were two guys to the thrillseekers. |

General quaility of dancing was also quite good, except for maybe the guy in the white singlet that has clearly taken a little too much. :p
